Season Plot

Provincial girl Phaen risks her life by boat for the chance at a better life, going on to become a rich leading woman. She builds fame and wealth, but ambition and pride make her insatiable. One woman becomes the target of her jealous wrath when she becomes an obstacle in Phaen's bid for one man's heart.
